After recovering from being fully staggered for the first time, Bahamut will fly high into the air and initiate « Gigaflare ». This gigantic beam will fire down at you and destroy the portion of the arena you’re standing on, much to Joshua’s despair. Tips: How to Beat Bahamut
For the actual fight itself, we went with Cloud, Tifa, and Aerith, with Cloud and Tifa being focused on basic attack damage, and Aerith being our sole magic attacker and healer. As such, the general strategy you want to follow is to always have Cloud and Tifa constantly putting on pressure, while Aerith hangs back and uses basic attacks to fill up her ATB primarily for heals.
